About us

BHR87.7 is the radio service operated by Basildon Hospital Radio, which is a registered charity.  All the money donated to Basildon Hospital Radio goes towards running the radio service , so we can supply entertainment, information and news free of charge to the patients of the hospital. We have no paid officers and all administration costs are paid for by our volunteers via a  membership subscription. 

BHR87.7 broadcasts 24 hours a day throughout the year, with our live programmes and an automated service which plays a continuous mixture of news,  features and request show  favourites.
